F&B Expo/Food Runner (Summer Seasonal)
Job Description
Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Maintains verbal communication with chefs and waitstaff
- Monitors the quality of dishes
- Ensures restaurant adherence to health and sanitation standards
- Makes final preparations on dishes
- Addresses complaints of diners
- Assists staff where needed
- Runs food to tables to assist service staff and ensure food is delivered in a timely manner
Job Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Prior experience as food expeditor or similar role
- Works well in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Great communication and coordination skills
- Can work on weekends and holidays, and handle shifting work schedules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education or Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent
Working Environment/ Physical Activities: Indoor mountain restaurant environment. Over 70% of the work day is spent walking and standing.
Frequently balancing, stooping, reaching, and handling objects. Frequently lifting and carrying objects up to 65 pounds.
