Our Purgatory Adventure Camp for Kids (PACK) FAQ is designed to help you get the answers you need prior to booking your child’s summer session at Purgatory Resort. Please read through the following information. Still have questions? Contact us at [email protected].
Activities
Q: What days and times are PACK sessions offered?
A: PACK is offered Mon-Fri from 9am-3pm. PACK will run Monday, June 20, 2022 through Friday, August 12, 2022.
Q: How much does PACK cost?
A: $65/day per child or $275/week per child *must be consecutive days*.
Q: How do I register my child?
A: Register your child online here.
Q: Are there any age restrictions?
A: PACK is open to kids ages 5-12.
Q: Is lunch included?
A: No. However, lunch may be added to your child’s registration for an additional $10. Sandwich options include ham, turkey or PB&J. Already registered your child but still need to add on a lunch? Click here.
Q: Is transportation provided?
A: No, parents will need to provide transportation to and from the resort.
Q: What does my child need to bring?
A: Your child will need a backpack, lightweight warm layer of clothing, rain gear or a poncho, one quart refillable water bottle (please don’t weigh down the little
ones; we will refill water bottles), sun hat, sunscreen (please apply at home in the morning; PACK team leaders will assist with reapplication), sack lunch (unless lunch purchased through PACK) and plenty of snacks.
Q: What medical forms are needed ahead of my child's session?
A: If your child carries medication (including Epi-Pens, inhalers, insulin
or seizure medications), your child’s physician must complete the following forms: Colorado Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan & Colorado Care Plan and Medication Order. If your child is exempt from any immunization please fill out this form: Immunization Medical Exemption Form. Please email all paperwork to [email protected].
Q: What are the weekly themes?

Q: Are all the kids grouped together, or are they broken up by age?
A: We do our best to group children by age and interest. Often siblings do well together, yet other times they do not. Please speak with a group leader on your child’s first day of our program.
Q: What is the child to teacher ratio?
A: No more than ten participants to one group leader. 10:1
Q: What are the daily/weekly activities?
A: Activities will vary by day and are TBD. Our program is designed to foster our participants’ curiosity and creativity, and will include fun activities such as exploring, mountain activities, games, arts and crafts.
Q: Is the staff background checked?
A: Yes, background checks are required per our program’s license.
