Rapid Image Photography is Purgatory’s exclusive photography partner, providing photo services for various activities Purgatory provides, such as ski school, mountain top portraits, races, events, and more. Guests can even book a private photographer to follow them around the mountain, getting professionally shot and edited photos of them in their favorite zones, kickers, in the terrain park, and anywhere else on the mountain that makes for that perfect photo op. Visit their desk in the main ticketing office to see your photos, inquire about your own private photographer or how to get photos shot for any of the other adventures you’ll go on while at Purgatory Resort!

Product Descriptions
Ski School
Capture the moments while you and/or your family learn to ski or ride at Purgatory! Rapid Image Photography provides memories that will last a lifetime as new skills are honed and learned through Purgatory’s world-class ski school program. Each guest will receive 20-30 professionally shot and edited photos of themselves out on the slopes that will be ready to check out at the end of the lesson. We offer both digital and high quality printed copies of photos for purchase at either photo desk in the ski school lodge or the main lodge ticketing office. While Rapid Image tries to get photos of every guest, the only way to guarantee that you or your family’s photos will be shot is through pre-purchasing a photo package with your lesson though Purgatory’s booking platform, or by visiting either of the Rapid Image desks before your lesson to pre-purchase.
Follow Along Photographer
Book your very own photographer to follow you into your favorite zones and get professionally shot and edited photos of your session either solo or with friends and family. Have a favorite side hit, powder stash, or cliff drop? We’ll be there to get the footy and don’t worry, your secret stashes are safe with us. Each rider will get 30+ photos throughout the session at a variety of locations that will be in your inbox digitally before the end of the day to share and post! Prints will also be available at a discounted rate should you want any physical copies made on site to take home and frame. Sessions can also be extended at a discounted rate before the session ends if you want to keep the adventure going and the photos flowing! We promise our team of skilled photographers rips harder than you do and can get to wherever you’re looking to capture the stoke.
Mountain Top Portraits
Need a new Christmas card photo? Want to show all of your friends how much cooler your family is than theirs? Look no further, we’ll be posted up at the top of the mountain in the designated photo area at the top of (insert lift name here, I don’t remember which lift the Paradise wedding venue is at the top of) getting professional studio quality portraits looking over the San Juan valley. Stop by, say cheese, and then head down to our desk in the main ticket office within an hour or two to check out your family’s professionally shot and edited photos available for purchase both digitally and in print. Don’t worry if you get carried away that day, your photos will be available for viewing and purchase any time during the remainder of your trip and online after you leave.
Snowcat Adventures
Looking to break out into the backcountry with Purgatory Snowcat Adventures, but worried you won’t get pics to prove it happened? Guests can book their own private photographer to come out with them on the adventure to capture the memories of a truly unique skiing experience away from the resort where the powder is deeper, the trees are tighter, and the stoke is even higher. Book for you, your family, and friends and each rider will get 20-30 professionally shot and edited photos of your tour delivered digitally to your inbox at the end of the day to showcase your proper Colorado backcountry experience.
