Get ready for the party of the season: The Purgatory 60th Anniversary Kick-Off Party & Ski Swap! The mountain is calling for one last epic summer celebration as we officially kick off the countdown to Purgatory Resort’s legendary 60th winter season!

Join Purgatory for our 60th Anniversary Kick-Off Party, a celebration to send off summer in style and get seriously stoked for the snow to fly. This isn’t just an end-of-season party; it’s the start of a year-long celebration for six decades of powder days, unforgettable memories, and pure mountain fun! Join us for food, drinks, live music, boot fittings, wax pass specials, ski swap and more.

Here’s what’s going down:

❄️ Ski & Snowboard Swap! ❄️

It’s time to gear up! This is the absolute best chance to score incredible deals on skis, boards, boots, and outerwear. Whether you’re a seasoned pro looking for an upgrade or a beginner building your first kit, the swap is the place to be. Have old gear? Sell it here and make some cash for your new setup!

• Items we will accept: Skis, poles, snowboards with or without bindings, snowboard bindings (no ski bindings, but ok if they are already on the skis), boots, jackets, pants, goggles.

• Items we will not accept: Anything not mentioned above, including helmets, gloves, base layers, socks.  Nothing more than 5 years old.  Purgatory reserves the right to refuse any items for any reason.

• Gear Drop-off: Friday, Sept 26, 10am – 5pm in Hoody’s.  There is no gear drop-off on the day of the swap.

• Payment: Sellers will receive 60% of the value of their sold items, or 100% in resort credit.

• Unsold gear pickup: Sunday, 10am – 4pm, Hoody’s.  Any gear not picked up will be donated.

Dana Ariel & Coming Up Roses will be turning it up on the Purgy’s Patio with live music from 12:00-3:00pm! Get ready to dance and soak up the amazing mountain vibes. The energy will be electric!
