Twilight lake
Explore Twilight Lake with paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks from Durango Board and Boat—Purgatory’s partner in summer adventure. Guests can also enjoy fishing on the lake and exploring the surrounding park and playground. Twilight Lake is conveniently located directly across the highway from the entrance to Purgatory Resort. Take the free shuttle from Purgatory Village, or park on the north side of the lake (near the Community Center) or the southeast side of the lake (at the Purgatory Creek/Purgatory Flats trailhead).

Kayaking is a peaceful and relaxing way to enjoy Twilight Lake and the surrounding scenery of the Rockies. Our kayaks are great for novice paddlers and are very easy to handle, plus Twilight Lake provides calm, flat water. Kayaks seat one. Life jackets are provided.
