Snowcat Dining Excursions
Back by popular demand! Enjoy this rare opportunity for spectacular views and a unique mountaintop culinary experience by booking a snowcat dining excursion. Guests will enjoy views of the alpenglow over the Needles Mountains from an enclosed snowcat as it ascends the trails on the way to a five-course meal. The only guests in the restaurant will be those who arrive by snowcat, providing an intimate and exciting feel — plus our Executive Chef will create entrees that are sure to impress even the most decadent diners.

How it Works
Guests meet at the main Purgatory Snowcat Adventures office (located in the plaza next to the toy store) no later than 4:30pm to check in and pick up their tickets. They will then be directed towards the Beach in front of Purgy’s Restaurant. Please allow the cats plenty of room to park and do not begin boarding until your operator has checked your ticket and given you permission to board. The excursion will depart at 5:00pm and return around 9:00pm.
The fine print
Terms, Conditions & Refund Policy
- Reservations are required 5 days in advance of the day of the dinner excursion.
- A minimum of 20 dinner guests is required for each trip.
- Dining excursions are weather and condition dependent.
- If weather or mechanical issues arise, Purgatory may choose to cancel and will provide a full refund. Reservations are otherwise non-refundable.
