Getting to Purgatory Resort
Purgatory Resort is nestled just 25 miles north of Durango, Colorado, deep in the San Juan mountains. Purgatory is located just off of US-550, and is only about a 30 minute drive from downtown Durango!
If driving is not your speed, there is also an airport nearby, La Plata County Airport, about 50 minutes south of the resort.
Parking and Transportation
Purgatory offers shuttle and transportation options between Durango, the resort, and select locations. Reservations are required.
The resort offers FREE homeowner and parking lot shuttles from 8:00am – 5:00pm daily, for every day we are in mountain operations.
A shuttle to Twilight Lake for paddle boarding can be requested through our app.
