How Much Can I Expect My Wedding at Purgatory Resort to be?

Wedding costs vary and are dependent on guest count and meal and bar choices. We offer a micro wedding package, which is a set price (add ons available) for guest counts of 40 and below. As of 2026, our micro wedding package is $7,800 and can be found here. Our base rates start at $6,000 for Purgy’s venue and $8,500 for Dante’s venue. You can view our menu here to get a deeper understanding of our dining and bar offerings and pricings.

What Happens If There Is Bad Weather?

Outdoor ceremonies in Colorado are majestic, however, there is always the chance for inclement weather. We hope your day is filled with sunshine but it is important to know your ceremony could be delayed or even cancelled at the ceremony site due to inclement weather. Light rain/snow needn’t stop your ceremony. Remind guests to bring a jacket or wrap and to wear practical footwear. Even a light sprinkle can make the ceremony or the ride down chilly (if Paradise is your chosen site). In the case of lightning, Mountain Operations will stop the lift for 30 minutes until lightning has moved on. A delay can be built into your timeline should this happen but timing at this site is limited. If the inclement weather does not move on, the back-up ceremony space will be located in Purgy’s.

How Do Guests Arrive at Dante’s Venue?

Purgatory Weddings offers a shuttle service to transport you and your guests to Dante’s venue and back to the base at the end of your night. Each trip is approximately a 30 minute drive. Your weddings team will work with you to coordinate your guest count and shuttle times to ensure you are set up for success. Transportation pricing is included in the facility fee and is the required mode of transportation from ceremony site to venue. You can check out our general shuttle information across the resort here. (prices listed are for separate, non-wedding day adventures).
