We sincerely thank every single person who skied, rode, had a drink by the fire, or just took in the sights at Purgatory this winter. It means the world to us that we get to be a part of your winter adventure. You Belong Here, and we’re grateful to provide a home for your everlasting memories 🫶

Now let’s dive into this rockin season!

Purgatory’s First Ullr Fest

A toast to Ullr!

This season we added a new tradition to the Purgatory way. We sacrificed our bodies to Ullr, the Norse God of Snow, in hopes for a snowy winter! Stoic warriors took the plunge into the icy water, braved the burn of Jägermeister for a ceremonial shot, and sent prayers to bring on a snowy season.

Santa and Mrs. Claus came to Purg!

We felt pretty jolly this Holiday season that the North Pole’s own Santa and Mrs. Claus same to Purgatory to meet and hear lots of little one’s wishes!
They were moved by the Purgatory cheer and the festive, if not a little fashionably questionable, Ugly Sweater Parade, which brought out the best (and worst) of everyone’s winter wardrobe. The energy? 100%. The fashion? Debatable. The stoke? Off the charts.

33″ Closer to Heaven

We learned Ullr’s love language is giving us rad snow days! As a Valentine’s Day present, he teamed up with Mother Nature to bless us with a 33″ powder weekend! We found love in all the right places: face shots, frozen mustaches, lift line match-making ;), and the most iconic iconic Valentine’s dates💘

Costumes On, Tubes Ready, Crazy Unleashed

Uncle Clyde’s Run and Slide: the ideal race for the fun, the funky, and the crazy!
It’s more than a relay race, it’s a full on on-mountain fever dream. Fairies, dinosaurs, hot dogs, and more took off in a fierce competition, charging up the hill with their tubes at the ready. At the top, they hop on those tubes and fly down, where their partners line up for their turn. Sound fun? Try it for an hour! Or for the particularly determined ones, an hour and a half!

The Final Track… Purg’s Greatest Hit!

Every great season needs a outro, and we prefer ours to be wet n wild🔥
Everyone came ready with peak creativity, funky outfits, stylish sends across the pond, and even slow-motion worthy wipeouts! A HUGE shoutout to every participant (no matter if you sank or swam) and every viewer who made the event an absolute blast! You all really made a splash🤪
