Sandia Peak Ski Area, located in the majestic Sandia Mountains just 35 miles northeast of Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a must-visit destination for all ski enthusiasts. Originally known as La Madera Ski Area and established in 1936, it holds the honor of being New Mexico’s first-ever ski resort. Sandia Peak Ski Area offers 35 trails, 4 lifts, and 300 acres of skiable terrain for all ability levels.
Can I ski at Sandia Peak with my Power Pass?
Yes! Your 2023/24 Power Pass, Power Pass Select, or Power Pass Core will be automatically upgraded to include skiing or riding at SPSA. Plus, all kids 12 & younger are eligible for a FREE Power Kids season pass.

Unlimited Access to Sandia Peak, Lee Canyon, Snowbowl, Purgatory, Brian Head, Hesperus, Sipapu, Pajarito, Nordic Valley, and Willamette Pass – Plus unlimited biking uplifts at Spider Mountain through April 30, 2024.
12 Day/Power Pass Select
12 restricted days to use between Lee Canyon, Snowbowl and Purgatory. Unlimited access to Sandia Peak, Brian Head, Nordic Valley, Pajarito, Sipapu, Hesperus, and Willamette Pass – Plus unlimited biking uplifts at Spider Mountain through April 30, 2024.
4 Day Power Pass/Power Pass Core
4 restricted days to use between Lee Canyon, Snowbowl, Purgatory, Brian Head, Spider Mountain & restricted access to Nordic Valley and Willamette Pass. Unlimited access to Sandia Peak, Sipapu, Pajarito, and Hesperus.

No, at this time the Power Pass will grant access to Sandia Peak Ski Area only.
