Who will be in my group?

We break down classes by discipline, age, and ability. We strive to keep class sizes small. For more individualized options, please visit our Private Lessons page

How do you determine ability levels?

Our instructors complete a verbal assessment to determine what terrain and skills the participant is comfortable with. For higher levels, a skills assessment will be done to ensure you’re placed in the correct group. To determine your ability, view our ability guide assessment

Can I watch my child’s lesson?

We strive to make the most of our time on the snow. Parents can often be distracting to their child’s class engagement and can take away from other participants’ experiences. We ask parents to respect this class dynamic and save interactions until after the lesson.

What is flaik?

Flaik is a GPS-based alpine guest tracking system. Children enrolled in lift-served lessons will have an instructor that is equipped with a lightweight locator. This technology is used to track their students’ progress. GPS images are captured multiple times per second, allowing a detailed analysis of location and activity. Parents and children can review and relive the day at the end of the lesson. This system ensures increased safety and peace of mind for both parents and the Ski and Snowboard School Team.
