Scenic Grab and Go Picnic: Curated picnic baskets available via the Deli for Scenic Chairlift guests! Order online day-of to secure your picnic pack.
Start your day off right with a house-made breakfast burrito or sandwich, pastry, or coffee. At lunch, Village Market and Deli offers a selection of deli sandwiches, soups, and snacks. The market is stocked with grab n’ go selections, home essentials, personal care items, and other sundries for your stay. Located in Village Plaza’s Kendall building.
Purgy’s Slopeside Restaurant
Summer Hours Starting June 20th, 2026
Lunch (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM): Features online ordering and indoor bar access. Interior seating available on non-event days. Online ordering and outdoor seating will be available when event space is in use.
Dinner (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM): Food service for dinner starts at 5. Online ordering remains active nightly.
Indoor Bar (11:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
Situated at the base of the Purgatory Village Express (Lift 1), Purgy’s Slopeside Restaurant offers a gastropub experience in a mountain setting. At lunch, enjoy classic resort fare: burgers and sandwiches, Purgatory’s signature beef chili, baked potatoes, salads, and more. After a long day on the slopes, join us for Aprés Hour with light bites and cocktails. Each evening, Purgy’s dishes up hand trimmed steaks and mountain inspired entrees alongside a curated wine selection.

The Bear Bar
Summer Hours Starting June 20th, 2026
Open Daily, 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Take in the San Juan sunshine in a red adirondack chair on Purgatory’s famous “Ski Beach.” Live music on select days. Located slope side at the base of Purgatory Village Express (Lift 1).
Paradise Pizzeria
CLOSED FOR THE SUMMER 2026 SEASON
Paradise Pizza will be closed for the Summer while we work on updating key infrastructure around the resort. Paradise will resume operations for the 2026-2027 Winter season.
Paradise Pizza is located in the main Village Plaza next to Purgatory Sports, across from the ticket office. With an Italian menu featuring Pizza, Pasta, Salads and more, this is an easy stop to please the whole family any time of day. They host a full service bar with beer on tap, as well as an ice creamery for that sweet treat to end your day right.
The Waffle Cabin
Summer Hours Starting June 20th, 2026
Open Daily 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Located slopeside at the Village Base Area near Twilight Lift (Lift 4), The Waffle Cabin serves Belgian Liège (sugar) waffles with a variety of toppings and a selection of warm beverages including hot chocolate and hot apple cider.

The Powderhouse

Dante’s Lodge
CLOSED FOR THE WINTER SEASON
Located atop Purgatory’s backside, Dante’s Lodge Café offers spectacular views of the San Juans and a variety of lunch options. The main level features a noodle bar, fresh-mex station, grill station, and handcrafted espresso beverages. Visit Dante’s fuel your ski adventure and maximize your time on the snow.
Access Dante’s via Joan’s Jubilee by riding Legends Lift 8 or via the midway unload station on Grizzly Lift 5.
Backside Bistro
CLOSED FOR THE WINTER SEASON
Perched on Purgatory’s Backside with magnificent views of the beautiful San Juan mountain range, Backside Bistro offers fine dining at 10,000+ feet. European alpine classics such as Wiener Schnitzel, Parisian Steak Frites, and French Onion Soup are complemented by an all-European wine selection. Reservations are recommended.
Located in Dante’s Lodge. Accessible via Lift 8, Legends Express, by taking Green Trail BD&M to Easy Blue trail Joan’s Jubilee. Also accessible via Lift 5, Grizzly Lift, by unloading at the Midway Station located directly at Dante’s Lodge and The Backside Bistro.
