We had a blast this past weekend with live music on Saturday from The Drama Club, followed on Sunday with some classic Snowdown shenanigans at the Snowdown kickoff and 2024 theme announcement party. Dig up your bell bottoms and bust out your fringe vests! 2024 will be a groovy good time with a Peace, Love, and Snowdown theme!
The Drama Club is a new band here in town, and we had a blast with them! The group is a musically diverse cover band that plays groove-focused tunes spanning from 60’s roots and soul to 70’s R&B and Rock to current day. They love recreating unique versions of your favorite songs and making some new favorites along the way.
It’s hard to follow an act that makes you want to get up and dance, but Snowdown always knows how to bring the party. The winter weather makes costuming hard, but we always love to see the creative ways people make their outfits work despite the snow.
We raised our goblets (or rather, tin cups) in a toast to this current week of Snowdown silliness,s and we all leaned in as the 2024 theme was announced. Dig up your bell bottoms and bust out your fringe vests! Next year will be a groovy good time with a Peace, Love and Snowdown theme! Seems like many Durangoans may not even need a costume for this one.
