How do I get tickets?

Our summer tickets may be purchased in person or online. We highly encourage you to purchase in advance online as the process moves along more smoothly when you’ve pre-purchased. Upon your arrival, you will be directed to the ticket office where you will present your confirmation email and receive your tickets that provide you access to our activities.

What’s included in a ticket?

We have two different types of tickets this season, activity tickets and bike park tickets.

Activity tickets will provide you access to the following attractions: Alpine slide, Mountain coaster, Scenic chairlift ride, Paddleboarding / Kayaking, and Gem mining. These can be purchased as a single activity ticket or in a pack of 5.

Bike park tickets provide you all day access to the Purgatory trails.

Can I purchase a full-day activity ticket?

The bike park tickets provide you with full day access to the Purgatory Mountain Bike Trails. However, all other activity tickets are purchased per ride and can be used all day.

Do I have to make a reservation?

Reservations are not required, and tickets can be purchased online or in person at the Purgatory ticket office. Please visit the Purgatory Ticket office with your confirmation email to receive your tickets.

Is there an age/height restriction for activities?

For the Inferno Mountain Coaster: Drivers must be minimum 52 inches. Passengers must be a minimum 36 inches with a driver 16 years or older. Must be at least 9 years old to ride alone.

For the alpine slide: Riders must be at least 3 years old and 36″ tall to ride with an adult. Riders must be at least 6 years old and 48″ tall to ride alone.

I don’t see an option to purchase tickets on certain dates. Why is that?

If you do not see the activity session you are looking for on the calendar, we are sold out or will not be open. Please select another date.

What is your weather policy?

Weather in the mountains can change quickly and unexpectedly. Our Operations Team follows a strict inclement weather protocol with guest and employee safety as their top priority. Up until the time that activity tickets are redeemed you can receive a full refund.

A refund may be available should inclement weather force the suspension of operations before 2 PM. Refunds will only be eligible on and for the day the product is purchased for and must be redeemed in-person at our Ticket Office within 1 hour of closure announcement. Guest tickets must be presented at time of refund request. The percentage of refund for a ticket will be determined by the usage of the product.

Are activity tickets included in my lodging reservation?

Activity tickets are not included in your lodging reservation and must be purchased separately from your lodging accommodations.

Do you offer mountain biking lessons?

Learn the basics, brush up on your skills or take a guided tour with the Purgatory Bike Park team! Our lift-served trails require a certain level of experience to negotiate, and lessons are highly recommended and encouraged.

With expert instruction and separate learning terrain areas, you can progress your downhill and/or cross-country mountain bike skills in a fun and low-risk environment, or work on tackling tougher trails and certain features.

Please reserve lessons at least 24 hours in advance. To book, please email the rental shop at [email protected] or visit Purgatory Sports, located in the Village Center. Walk-ins are accommodated as availability allows.
