F&B Pizza Chef (Summer Seasonal)
The position requires night and weekend work, the ability to stand throughout most of the shift, and the ability to lift boxes weighing 20+ pounds
Independently completes daily dough production (ideal candidate is familiar with dough production and proofing)
Maintains dough timeline and inventory, ensuring proper proofing and rotation or dough
Masters and teaches hand stretching and tossing of pizza dough
Tops and bakes pizzas utilizing a toppings, time, and temperature matrix
Monitors oven temperature and bake times to ensure consistent, great pizza
Packages finished pizzas and food orders neatly
Communicates with front of house personnel to ensure all pizza-by-the-slice options are available, as well as all other relevant information
Responsible for orders, invoice coding, inventory counting and control, checking in orders
Unloads and properly stores inventory orders in a way that supports first-in last-out procedures
Manages food orders from servers/bar and online ordering system and ensures customers’ orders are completed correctly and in a timely manner
Completes opening and/or closing checklists, cleaning checklists, temperature logs, prep lists and pull thaws
Scheduling of employees using a budget matrix and Hotschedules
Supervising a crew of up to 12 , and working closely with front of house supervisors.
Training employees and ongoing coaching and leadership of the team
Holds high standards in all areas of the kitchen and holds the team accountable for these standards
Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment, ServSafe certified or willing to complete the course within a month of hire
Follows all health and safety requirements per our local health department
Preparing toppings such as cheese, sauce, and sliced toppings and packages and stores them appropriately
Preparing wings, fried foods, salads, and desserts
Washing dishes, cleaning and maintaining all smallwares and equipment
Salary Range for this position is: $18.00-$25.00/ hour
