Employee housing
The Motel Durango is located on Highway 550 in Durango, Colorado about 30 minutes South of Purgatory Resort. A bike and running path (Animas River Path) lies just behind the Motel and connects to the downtown area. Employees can access a shared kitchen area, laundry facility, pool, hot tub and multiple picnic tables outside by the river. The motel is conveniently situated close to many grocery stores, a pharmacy, a laundry mat, downtown and the local rec center.

Local Transportation
The local trolley and bus system accesses most areas within the city of Durango and comes to the Motel. The Main Street route costs $1.00 and includes all the stops North and South from the Motel Durango.
Monthly passes are $30.00.
Employee Shuttle
There is also an employee shuttle that makes stops at the Motel 7 days a week.
Departs Durango: TBD – Arrives at Purgatory: TBD.
Departs Purgatory: TBD – Arrives in Durango: TBD .
If you are off on a particular day, you can still ride the shuttle to its predetermined stops. However, when the mountain is closed, the shuttle will not be running.
